The Reluctant Runner is Feeling Proud

...And it's not because of her running

I'm nipping in and out very quickly this week, because I have nothing to report vis-a-vis my, er, running.

Am STILL not in the right zone - but I WILL get there.. ..eventually.

I just wanted to say huge congratulations to the wonderful team at Ealing Half Marathon who have, for the THIRD time, been voted the best.

As you may have gathered (if you have read any of these sorry entries which date back to eek 2012!) I am no 'real' runner, just a novice who keeps trying.

But four years ago the EHM team gave me that chance - as they do every year - to give it a go.

Yep, I was reluctant, and yep I still am, but as that old chestnut goes... it's the taking part that counts.

Suffice to say I am drawn to this event each year because, well, it's my patch isn't it?  It's yours too - so why not give it a go this year?

You don't have to run, the volunteering (as I did last year) is something really incredible and helps make the EHM the special experience it is.

I'm really proud to be a part of the Ealing Half Marathon and hope to have persuaded you to get involved.
