Well I started, I really did.

Riding on my wave of enthusiasm and positivity (and green tea!) I actually ran 3 times last week. And..well, dare I say? I, er.. sort of liked it! Argghhh, good grief, how on earth did that happen?

Ok, so in analysis, I enjoyed:

1) Getting out the house (away from the kids!!)

2) The fresh cool air (totally my ideal conditions at the moment)

3) Not really thinking about anything (other than watching out for dog mess)

4) Not feeling out of breath (yes I know I do run exceedingly slow)

5) Passing people I know and saying hello (this made me feel very virtuous!)

6) Ealing's parks (we are really very lucky to have such beautiful spaces)

7) Not having to fiddle with headphones (I just entertained myself with my own wonderful eclectic thoughts)

8) Living in the moment (I know it might sound naff - but how often do we?)

9) This beautiful sky and sunset (I would have missed this if I was stuck indoors)

10) Feeling chilled when I got home (and no wine was needed!)

So, all good. This week alas, not so. I have been felled by a nasty cold/flu virus so have been in no position to walk far let alone run.

The strange thing is though... I sort of missed it!

What is going on?
