Police have released an e-fit image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with a robbery that took place in Southall on Wednesday, 10 July at 09:20hrs.

A 28-year-old woman was walking along Merrick Road, at the junction with Havelock Road, when she was approached by a man. He attempted to snatch her bag before punching her in the mouth. He then made off with her bag in a red Mitsubishi car, which is believed to be stolen.

The woman received a facial injury during the attack.

The man is described as black, aged in his late 20s, of medium build, approximately 5ft 9inches tall and was wearing a hoodie, dark blue jeans and trainers.

No arrests have been made.
