The first meeting of the West London Stand Up to Racism campaign will take place in Ealing this month with Labour MP, Rupa Huq, one of the guest speakers.

The new group - formed from Unite Against Fascism and Stand Up To Racism - aims to tackle what is described as 'the racist offensive against refugees, migrants and Muslims.'

They say 'the appalling treatment of refugees across Europe and the staggering rise in anti-Muslim hate crimes must be challenged.'

West London Stand Up to Racism will be supporting the Europe-wide UN Anti-Racism Day Demonstration on Saturday 19th March in Central London

Their inaugural meetung will take place on Tuesday 23rd February at 7.30pm (doors open 7.00pm) St. Mary's Church Hall, St. Mary's Road, Ealing W5 5RH

Admission is free with a collection for refugees in Calais (and to cover costs of meeting)
