Tributes Paid To Journalist and Playwright Michael Green

Long-standing Questors member has died at the age of 91

The death has been announced of the journalist and playwright Michael Green best known for his humorous book series 'The Art of Course...'and locally, his long affiliation with The Questors Theatre.

He was born in Leicester in 1927 and joined The Questors in 1953, after moving from the Midlands to London to continue his career as a journalist.

He remained active as actor, director and writer for over 60 years, and was still working at the end of last year when he wrote the play which won best script at The Coarse Acting Festival at The Questors. He had recently recorded The Art of Coarse Acting as an audiobook.
