The Old Priorians made it four out of four against Twickenham with an impressive 28-20 win on Saturday.

Approximately 250 people turned out for the top of the table clash with OPs swelling the crowd with a support of over 70 It was Twickenham who took the lead early on.

An overthrow at their line out fell to the Twickenham 7 who was the quickest to react and he was able to power his way over for the score. The OPs came back firing, putting Twickenham under immense pressure and they got their rewards with two James Booth penalties.

Twickenham then executed a good move down the blind side from a scrum to score and extend their lead to 12-6. Again the OPs went on the attack with continuous pressure leading to two yellow cards for the home side.

Soon enough, David Wilkie burst through the Twickenham defence before popping the ball to Jack Dever to score in a move that time seemed to slow down for. Just before half time Twickenham landed their own penalty for a score of 15-13.

The OPs knew what they had to do and controlled much of the second half, their defence strangling the Twickenham attack and giving them no room to play. Once they had the ball, the OPs were threatening, soon scoring again through Jack Dever.

The backs moved the ball through the hands for Seb Oddi to light up the pitch before passing inside to the ever present Dever to score. Soon it was Oddi's chance to add to his outstanding OP try tally as he scorched down the left wing to score in the corner. Continual OP pressure led to a fourth try when Adam McCulloch was in control of the ball as the OP forwards drove over.

It would have been easy for Twickenham to let their heads drop with the score at 28-15 however they came back strong and fought to the end, managing to get themselves a third try to set up a tense final five minutes.

The OPs saw it out and following a bizarre decision by Twickenham to kick for the posts the game was over. The title is now in OPs hands with two games against HAC to see the season out.

Congratulations to the team and thank you to the supporters who came done it watch!
