The man leading the inquiry into the child abuse scandal at St Benedict's school in Ealing is seeking further information.

It follows the conviction of former headteacher Father David Pearce for indecently assaulting five young boys between 1972 and 2007, and allegations against two other former teachers dating back to 1972.

Lord Carlile of Berriew is heading a wide-ranging investigation and urges anyone affected to come forward to help establish weaknesses in child protection at the school and Ealing Abbey, to which it is linked.

The Call For Evidence was recently advertised in The Evening Standard newspaper and can be viewed on the Old Priorian Association website for former staff and pupils of the school.
