OPEN Ealing @ the Orchard Café - Singapore Road, London W13 0EP
All March Saturdays 1-3pm - £15 adults / £10 concessions

Inter-generational workshops intended for all ages starting from 7 and all abilities.

After learning to slab roll clay and decorate it using textured materials in February, Corinne Scurr will teach you more complex structures including coiling and press moulding. Later, she will help you push these skills further through a variety of different projects including making a box with a lid, making a coil pot and exploring different decorating techniques using slips, stencils and textured stamps.

Corinne Scurr is a practising artist from West London, she has practised Ceramics since 2007. She has been running art workshops since 2005, both private and public and holds a degree in Contemporary Crafts from Falmouth. Previously she has worked for the Tate and the National Trust and at present is completing a residency at Stockley Academy in Hillingdon. An engaging and friendly person, Corinne will make these sessions informative and laid back.

You can see more about her work in her blog www.thekilnhouse.blogspot.co.uk , visit her Etsy shop Kiln House Works and also keep up to date with her on Instagram and Twitter, by following @cozzieanne
