Ealing's Main Post Office On The Move

Proposals underway for WH Smith to relocate to Ealing Broadway Shopping Centre

Customers are being invited to have their say on proposals to move the Post Office across the road to Ealing Broadway Shopping Centre.

The proposed new location for the branch is 39/42 Ealing Broadway Centre, The Broadway, W5 5JY - 200 metres from the present Ealing Post Office at WHSmith, 21-23 The Broadway, W5 2NH.

Should the move go ahead, the new Ealing Post Office would have five serving positions, two screened positions and three open plan counters.

This is part of major modernisation programme across the Post Office network designed, they say, to make it easier for customers to do business, through longer opening hours and modern open plan environments.

Damien Haydock, Post Office Multiple Accounts Executive said: “We are making it easier for customers to get their cash, send and collect their mail and do their banking because we know how important these services are to local residents.

He added: “We are confident that this vibrant new-style Post Office will meet customer needs.” 

During the public consultation, Post Office Ltd welcomes feedback on any issues customers would like considered before a final decision is taken on this proposal. The consultation will close on 26 October 2018. Customers can share their views during the consultation online at postofficeviews.co.uk with the branch code 139006.
