Man Critical After Deliberate Attack in Popes Lane

Ealing CID investigating deliberate assault

A 26 year old man is in a critical condition after being attacked in the early hours on Popes Lane in W5.

An off duty police officer found the man - who had head injuries - at around 12.10 am (2/04) at the junction with Rose Gardens.

He had been assaulted and had fallen onto the road.

The suspect is described as a man between 23-25 years old, Asian or possible mixed race wearing a grey tracksuit with logo on the front - but no hood.

He got out of a hatchback type car and assaulted the victim.

The victim was taken to St Mary's Hospital and is in a critical condition.
