An Ealing police will appear before a professional standards committee today accused of '‘Discreditable Conduct'.

PC Matthew Holloway, 27, was arrested on 25 June 2015, for harassment. The victim later withdrew the statement, but the content of PC Holloway's text and social media communications was considered threatening and the Crown Prosecution Service authorised the charge against him. He pleaded guilty to malicious communications and was given a three-year conditional discharge, and made to pay £1,200 costs and £500 victim compensation.

Now that the criminal investigation has been concluded the local misconduct process will commence.

The hearing will take place on Thursday 29th September 2016 and is listed for one day.
