Architects Jestico + Whiles have been chosen to remodel Sir John Soane’s Pitzhanger Manor.

Work on the Grade-I-listed building in Walpole Park will aim to ‘sensitively restore and transform the Manor into a world-class museum’.

The Architects' Journal (AJ) reports that Jestico + Whiles was selected by Ealing Council because of the team’s past experience and integrated approach to the building, landscape and interpretation design.

Jestico + Whiles will lead the core design team, working alongside exhibition designer Ralph Appelbaum Associates and landscape architect J & L Gibbons, supported by Julian Harrap Architects and Sarah Couch Historic Landscapes who are providing heritage advice.

Engineers Ellis & Moore and environmental specialists King Shaw Associates complete the team.
