An Ealing restaurant is celebrating its first birthday in a very generous and charitable manner.

Pho, sells Vietnamese street food and is based at 22 New Broadway. It opened this time last year and this Saturday instead of paying a standard restaurant bill, customers get the chance to donate whatever amount they wish.

All proceeds from this Saturday will go towards the Ealing Foodbank - a project founded by local churches and community groups, working together towards stopping hunger in the London Borough of Ealing.

Libby Andrews from Pho said: '' As it’s so close to Christmas, the Ealing team have decided to do something a bit different to celebrate turning one year old: this Saturday, our food will be completely free. We will only be accepting donations (cash or card), of any amount to give to the Ealing Foodbank. We hope to be very busy and raise loads of funds for a great cause.''
