Detectives are appealing for information and witnesses after a motorcyclist died following a collision on the A40 in Perivale.

Police, the London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance were called at 04:05hrs on Friday, 8 December to Western Avenue at the junction with Alperton Lane following reports of a collision.

A man, aged in his 20s, was pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin have now been informed.

At this early stage, no other vehicles are believed to be involved.

Detectives from the Met’s Road and Transport Policing command are investigating.

They would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision or the moments prior to it.
