New illustrations from campaigners shows comparative height of proposed building
The consultation period for the planned huge redevelopment of Ealing's council building, Perceval House, ends this week. A CGI video ''vision'' of the plans can be viewed on the official site here and shows the development area next to Ealing Town Hall. There were many objections to the original scheme and Historic England said Ealing’s conservation areas and listed buildings would be harmed by the height and design of the proposal and wanted it reduced in scale. Campaigners, Stop The Towers - a collaboration of residents and groups across Ealing who are concerned about and are fighting overdevelopment - illustrated the impact of the tall building and outlined some of the main reasons to object here
The proposals are due to be discussed at Ealing Council Planning Committee meeting on Wednesday 17 February. The planning reference is 203275FULR3. Annemarie Flanagan
