Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a fatal road traffic collision in Southall.

The incident happened on Monday 19 March at 1436 hrs in Norwood Road Southall when a male pedestrian and lorry were in collision.

The male pedestrian was taken by London Ambulance Service to the Royal London Hospital where he died on Sunday 25 March.

He was Gurmit Singh Shinmar ( 24.3.36 -76 yrs) of Hounslow. Next of kin
are aware. A Post Mortem is due to take place at Uxbridge Mortuary on 29 March.

An Inquest will open and adjourn in due course.

The driver of the lorry stopped at the scene. There have been no arrests.
