Police Officer Suspended Over Alleged Sexual Activity With Child

Investigations underway following reported offence

An Ealing police constable has been suspended whilst an investigation is carried out into allegations of sexual activity with a child.

Police say it was reported on Friday, 29 January - the victim is a girl under the age of 16.

Enquiries by the Sexual Offences, Exploitation and Child Abuse Command are continuing.

The police officer has been bailed to a date to March.

The DPS have been informed.
