Lammas Park could be the site for the first Parkour facility in the borough.

Parkour

Parkour is a popular sporting discipline involving participants - young and old - with the aim to move quickly through an area by climbing and leaping across obstacles. It can be practised alone or with others and is often carried out in urban spaces, but can be done anywhere. The governing body is Parkour UK which suports and develops the activity throughout the UK.

If the Lammas Park facility gets the go-ahead, it's proposed that new equipment would be situated near the tennis courts designed to blend in to the natural environment using materials such as wood and stone.

A consultation is underway and the council is seeking opinions

The plans will be also be discussed at the next ward forum on Monday 26 February at St. John’s Church Hall, Mattock Lane, West Ealing W13 9LA
