Mixed Media and Drawing at OPEN Ealing

Five week course starting Friday 23rd February

Local Artist and teacher, Jessica Rose, begins a new Drawing and Mixed Media course at OPEN Ealing on Friday 23 February. The five week course is aimed at those who want to extend their drawing and mixed media skills and push their boundaries.

Each week we study topics that challenge our skills and develop techniques to perfect subjects like snow and trees. We explore various techniques including mono printing. The course culminates in an exhibition of the students' work in the Orchard Cafe. Full details and booking is on line via OPEN Ealing's website.


Jessica Rose is a well known local artist who many may know either by attending her classes or visiting her studio during the BEAT weekends.
She worked as a newspaper journalist and for the BBC for over a decade before becoming a full time artist and works as both a painter and printmaker in media including watercolour, etching and linocut. She holds classes in her home/studio in Ealing and teaches workshops at colleges and art clubs. Jessica exhibits regularly in both solo and group shows and produces commissions ranging from architectural and landscape paintings for stately homes to pet portraits.
