Singer/songwriter Jimmy The Dog rounds off the first Saturday of BEAT at the Orchard Cafe

Singer/songwriter Jim Ferrie grew up listening to Paul Gambaccinis American Top 100 and artists like Tom Petty, Steely Dan, Bruce Springsteen, Hall and Oates, Van Halen, Rick Springfield, Pat Benatar, Tom Waits, The Eagles and so on influenced his musical tastes. After years as a cover band keyboardist Ferrie discovered Steve Earle and others in the Americana genre and got the bug to start writing. Now hes got some songs published and had a little bit of radioplay on the BBC and tries to get out and play open mics in London when he can.

We are delighted he has found his way to the Orchard Cafe to play an acoustic set. His easy style, connection with the audience and banter make his the perfect set for OPEN and the Orchard Cafe. An opportunity to listen to Jimmy The Dog on SoundCloud

We are not only looking after your auditory senses, we’ve got art for your visible delectation and Vix is cooking so your tastebuds will be tantalised too. Come early: grab the opportunity to look at the art of seven local artists (exhibitors in the Borough of Ealing Art Trail) and have a meal. For More details and book tickets please go online
