OPEN is teaming up with North London Actors for a “classic” play performed script in hand followed by a discussion with the actors and director Monty Holender.

The play:

Written and premiered in 1926 in the USA, the Constant Wife was not firstly acclaimed in the UK. It is a very personal take and modern look on marriage and its limitations by Somerset Maugham who himself was in a disintegrating relationship with his wife at the time.

The topic of the play so strongly resonates today that the following discussion promise to be animated. Any bitterness about sex equality and women’s empowerment will surely be softened by Chef Vix’s food!
