This year programme includes adults as well as children and young children
The summer programme of courses at Open Ealing has previously catered to children and young people because of the holidays but this year it is differently They are going to be continuing some classes from their normal programme for adults as well as hosting Start Studios and Fresh Art Club who are providing classes for children and young people. Class sizes are limited to 10 participants to allow for two metres or more between participants. In addition to the daily cleaning schedule they sanitise all tables, chairs, easels and drawing boards before and after each workshop. Washrooms and door handles are sanitised every hour. There is a hand sanitiser at the door which is operated via motion sensor and disposable masks and gloves are available for those who prefer to wear them although they are not obligatory. If you are attending a class, you will need to supply your own materials. Inspired by Nature - creative watercolour for artists with some experience of using watercolour. Led by Helen Trevisiol Duff.
4 week course Drawing & Painting in Ink is for artists who want to learn how to master the medium of ink. In this 3 week course you learn everything from mark making to applying washes. Led by Andrea Tierney.
3 week course Improving Your Drawing & Painting is for people who want to learn how to explore and develop their creativity. Tutor Joel Sydenham shows you how to master the basics and more.
4 week course Life on Saturdays - life drawing for those who are experienced life drawing artists, or happy to increase their line miles under their own steam. 10am - 12pm Classes for Children and Young People Animation Workshop with Start Studios Workshops on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons with Fresh Art Club.
