Join the amazing Amie Taylor in creating a story of how one brilliant princess sets out to find another equally brilliant princess who loves jokes as much as she does. Bring your imagination to the Orchard Cafe on Saturday 11 August at 11am to take part in a fun interactive storytelling performance and create your own shadow puppet to take home.

The Shadow Makers is Amie Taylor’s independent storytelling, shadow puppetry and puppetry company. Amie has worked as a storyteller since 2011, and has performed interactive storytelling at many synagogues, schools, theatres and museums. She has previously taken part in a training at The International School of Storytelling, with Danyah Miller, where she learnt many storytelling techniques. She has an ongoing position with PJ Library – a Jewish Children’s Book Charity, where she takes their storybooks and turns them in to interactive puppetry and storytelling performances for the under 7s. Interactive storytelling combines games, storytelling, puppetry and shadows, as well as taking ideas from the audience to help shape the story.

OPEN is delighted to collaborate with Amie Taylor in bringing our craft and performance to the next generation. Step forward 4 - 7 year olds. Bring your adults to OPEN and let your imagination run riot for a couple of fun filled hours. All materials are included in the price and all you have to do is reserve your place via the website, or ring 07562 662955
