As a precurssor to the Ealing BEAT which takes place over two weekends in September a special pop-up has opened in the town centre.

Art works will be on display and for sale at OPEN Ealing's new location in the shopping centre on Oak Road (opposite Patisserie Valerie.)

The arts organisation will have a temporary home here from now until 30 September Monday to Saturday 10am-8pm and Sunday 10am-5pm.

There are plans for exhibitions, workshops, talks and performances so watch that space.

New workshops and courses starting next week available at OPEN Ealing

Watercolours

This painting workshop is an opportunity to get to grips with watercolours in a supportive and relaxed environment. During the three hour session, you will learn to get the hang of colour mixing, painting wet on wet, layering colours, using drybrush techniques and much more. This is a class for beginners and people who want to get more of a grounding. You need to provide your own materials for this class

Manga

A fun filled hour for beginners and experienced young artists alike. Use this hour with artist and tutor Sheila Moylan to learn how to draw Manga, or branch out from your favourite anime character and practice drawing all kinds of people and characters.The class is suitable for anyone aged 12 and older.
