A man has been charged with the murder of 25-year-old Rory Anderson in Northolt earlier this month.

Alex Azadbakhat, of no fixed abode, who is also 25, appeared at Wimbledon Magistrates' Court earlier today, Thursday, 31 March, where he was remanded in custody to appear at the Old Bailey on Monday, 4 April.

He is accused of stabbing Mr Anderson who worked as a carpenter near his family home in Hotspur Road in the early hours of Saturday, 12 March. Mr Anderson was taken to hospital but died on 16 March. It is believed he was trying to break up an argument that was taking place outside a party in the block of flats where he lived.
