Man Charged With Northolt Murder

Police name victim as 38 year old Tahira Ahmed

A man's been charged following the death of a woman in Northolt.

Police were called at approximately 21:00hrs on Tuesday, 27 May, to a disturbance at an address in Merton Avenue, Northolt.

Upon arrival officers found the body of a 38-year-old woman inside the address. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police named the deceased is Tahira Ahmed, 38, of Merton Avenue.

Officers from the Homicide and Major Crime Command (HMCC) are investigating the death.

Detectives have charged Naveed Ahmed, 41 of Merton Avenue, Northolt with murder.

He has been remanded in custody to appear at Ealing Magistrates Court on Friday 30 May.
