Are you a cyclist? Do you like a challenge? How would you like to take part in an all-night ride around central London to raise funds for a local charity?

Nightrider 2014 is taking place on the night of Saturday 7 June, into the morning of Sunday 8th. And local charity Uganda Development Services (UDS) still has places left on this team.

Based at the Lido in Mattock Lane, UDS provides computer training, literacy aids and mentoring for subsistence farmers in Uganda.  This is the fifth year running it’s sent a team of cyclists off into the night to ride 100 kilometres round the capital – taking in sights such as Tower Bridge, Albert Hall and the Houses of Parliament.  Several hundred charities take part, and you’ll be joining thousands of cyclists enjoying a moonlit (hopefully!) ride around the traffic-free streets.

Come alone or see if you can get a group of friends or work colleagues to join in.

If you want to take part, you’ll have to hurry – the deadline for entry is Friday, 9th May. Go here to sign up ..  http://www.ugandadev.org.uk/Fundraise/help/fundraise/events ..  and get training!
