The transformation of the former window and door company at the bottom of Northfield Avenue (number 318) is underway. A new hairdressers will be opening soon.

Meanwhile in the ongoing work - the above signage has been unveiled. Does anyone remember Newman Paperbacks and if so can you fill us in on any background to this former shop?
