An Ealing band will be opening the Ealing Blues Festival this year.

Near Death Experience - NDX formed in 2016 and rehearse in St Mary's Church.

They play a range of indie rock and soul and are releasing a new album Mouth to Mouth on 12th July. Copies will be available for sale at the Blues Festival on Saturday July 20th.

The band has been championing new music through the Ealing Live initiative, bringing new artists in to play at local pubs. They've also helped raise funds for charity with the OXjam Festival which was held at the Castle Pub.

Singer and guitarist Ian Whiteling said: '' We are both delighted and excited to be opening the Ealing Blues Festival. It's a great event that we've attended many times. It'd be great to get lots of local support when we kick off what will be a great weekend of live music in Walpole Park  - and it's only a fiver if you book online!.''
