West Ealing Nat West To Close

Local branch is included in list of 197 banks that will shut next year

The West Ealing branch of Nat West has been announced as one of 197 branches that will be closing by May next year.
The company is also shuttering 62 RBS branches

The closures are said to be due to the changing nature of banking with more customers using online services.

RBS said in a statement: "We expect these branch closures to result in around 680 redundancies. We realise this is difficult news for our colleagues and we are doing everything we can to support those affected. We will ensure compulsory redundancies are kept to an absolute minimum." .

On Friday RBS released the list of the 259 branches, as well as West Ealing others affected include Acton, Brentford, Shepherds Bush, Barnes, Earls Court, East Sheen, Morden, Southfields, Wandsworth & Wimbledon Village olborn Circus, New Covent Garden Fruit Market,
