A teenage shoplifter from Perivale has been banned from BP service stations and Marks and Spencer stores throughout England and Wales for two years.

Ackem Moran, 18 of Haymill Close, Perivale was convicted on Friday, 11 September at Uxbridge Magistrates' Court of two counts of shoplifting and was ordered to pay costs of a total of £298.

The court also granted a Criminal Behaviour Order against Moran with the following condition:

1. Not to associate in a public place in England and Wales with Ryan Fox, 18 and Kelsey Middleton, 18.

2. Entering any BP service stations or Marks and Spencer in England and Wales.

3. Being present in a group of two or more persons acting in a manner likely to cause harassment, alarm and distress.

4. Carrying any drug paraphernalia. This order last for two years.

Between 15 and 16 May, Moran stole a number of items of food and drink from a BP service station in Western Avenue, Perivale.

Moran was arrested and charged with shoplifting on 3 July. He pleaded guilty at Court.

PC Karen Newland from Ealing Anti-Social Behaviour Team said, "Hopefully the sentence and Criminal Behaviour Order will prevent Moran from committing further crimes and engaging in anti-social behaviour that causes untold damage to local community life."
