A 21-year old Ealing man is running the London Marathon to raise money for multiple sclerosis research.

Inspired by his grandfather, who suffered from the disease for most of his life, Greg Hall took the plunge last summer in signing up to the London Marathon.

He says; " Although this is still a tremendously daunting prospect (with it being THE greatest challenge that I have ever faced), I’m excited to announce that on April 23 2017 I will be running the Marathon for the Multiple Sclerosis Society. My grandfather was unfortunate enough to suffer from Relapsing-Remitting MS (RRMS) for most of his life, therefore I hope the money that is raised has a real effect on the research carried out by the MS Society, so that no one will have to go through the same amount of pain and suffering he went through due to MS ever again.

Any contributions to this amazing charity are deeply appreciated, and will undeniably make my training for the 26.2 miles less painful!

You can donate online OR by texting ‘GGGG 78 £5' to 70070.

The MS Society is the UK's biggest independent charity for MS, which is a condition of the central nervous system. Research is progressing fast, with many new potential treatments being in late stage clinical trials and a cure to be hopefully found in the not so distant future! Meaning that there has never been a more important and influential time to donate and make a real difference to MS sufferers lives.
