From September youngsters will get the the chance to take part in special Lego play sessions in Ealing.

A launch event will be held at Hanwell Library on Saturday 25th July and children from across the bororogh are being invited to use new Lego resources.

The Lego Education programme say they offer support to children in an engaging and creative environment; allowing them to develop their understanding of computing, design and technology, science, maths and languages all through the use of a familiar and adaptable resource.

Neil Taylor of Lego Education UK said: 'Lego Education are very pleased to be working in partnership with Cultural Community Solutions who manage libraries on behalf of the Local Authorities in Ealing. We believe that the work being carried out will have a valuable and lasting impact on the children, families and other members of the community visiting the libraries and look forward to working with them over the coming years'.

In September Lego clubs will be running weekly for children aged 8 +. Children will interact with a specially designed activity packages such as StoryStarter, MoreToMaths, WeDo, and Machines and Mechanisms.
