Letters are going through doors in the Little Ealing area detailing the new Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ) which will start on May 5th.

After a local vote - in which 32% responded - the majority (60%) told the council they wanted the CPZ Mon- Friday for two periods morning and afternoon of one hour each.

A full breakdown can be seen here (pdf)

Road markings and signs will be installed by the Council's contractor, Murrill Construction, and the work, starting Thursday (16th April) is expected to last 3 weeks. There will be 13 roads included in the Zone RR.

Ealing Parking Services will be sending out further information regarding how to buy a permit which will be £50 this year. The Council say they are holding it at last year's price because it was originally scheduled to be implemented before the annual price rise.

Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs) will not be issued until residents have received letters and had time to apply for permits. The new parking restrictions are scheduled to come into effect on the 5th May.

The new zone once introduced will cover the area from Little Ealing Lane to Darwin Road, including Chandos Ave, Junction Road.

Properties which fall within Ealing but the road is in Hounslow - and vice versa - will be given the chance to get a permit from either borough (South Ealing Road numbers 212-242) Windmill Road (numbers 158-184).
