An appeal for witnesses and information is being made after a woman told police she was kidnapped and assaulted in central Ealing.

At some time between 10:00am and 11:00pm on Friday, 18 August, the woman, who is aged in her early twenties, was approached by two men in a silver car in Haven Green, close to Ealing Broadway Underground Station.

The driver was an Asian man, aged in his late twenties. In the passenger seat was a white male, described as being tanned, aged in his early twenties.

The passenger, who was known to the woman, got out of the car and pulled the woman into the back seat before getting in with her. All three then drove away.

On the morning of Tuesday, 22 August the woman was found in the West Ealing area and was helped by a female member of public. The victim would have been in a distressed state and required clothing and medical attention.

Officers would like to speak with the member of public who assisted, who was aged in her late teens to early twenties; she spoke with an Irish accent and had purple hair.

A 21-year-old man was arrested in connection with investigation and has been bailed to return on a date in mid-September.
