The activities running across Everyone Active Centres in Ealing aim to bring women together on this day to share in their successes, meet like-minded women, feel energised and inspired. “Every year, International Women’s Day is celebrated worldwide, recognising women’s achievements, from the political to the social, while calling for gender equality,” says Everyone Active Contract Manager, Mark Leahy. “It is really important that we join in this celebration and put on activities to bring women of all backgrounds and circles together to celebrate their achievements. We hope the classes will be a real success and can’t wait to welcome everyone down on the day.” This year’s International Women’s Day campaign is looking to promote the theme ‘better the balance, better the world and is inviting women to strike a ‘balance pose’ to mark the day. Everyone Active is only too happy to strike this pose to mark the day. March 4th 2019 |
