New vegan takeaway opens on Northfield Avenue

An Ealing woman who got bored with the lack of good quality vegan food available has launched her own business.

'The Humble Veg' takeaway has just opened on Northfield Avenue - in Alladin's Cave.

Owner Jackie Fernadez told Ealing Today, ''It is a small menu to begin with as I am a one-woman road show (with occasional friend and family help) and have a small space to work with.
I am trialing hot rice boxes and salads to see what people like....and so far so good...alot of interest and positive feedback!

"It is good honest home cooked food, from a 100% vegan start up; all packaging is made from plants ( Veg Ware, Fiesta Green).

"I am a vegan myself and got bored of the normal vegan options so took out a loan and did it myself!''
