Westmont Enterprise Hub appoint new Women's Ambassador
An Ealing based entrepreneur has been given the role of helping and inspiring fellow business wormen. Sukhi Jutla - co founder of B2B firm Market-Orders - was recently named as one of the UK’s Top 100 Women in Tech and has now been appointed by Westmont Enterprise Hub as Women's Ambassador. The start-up facility, which is part of University of West London (UWL), will link entrepreneurs with investment, business support, and University expertise to help them succeed. Laurence Geller CBE, Chancellor, University of West London, added: “Future growth in the economy depends on more people having the skills, knowledge and confidence to start new businesses. Through the Westmont Enterprise Hub, the University is supporting and inspiring students and the local community to achieve their dream of starting or growing a business. Graduating from Royal Holloway, University of London after attending the local Ealing college and working in corporate finance, Sukhi left the corporate world and wrote about her transition to entrepreneurship in her book ‘Escape the Cubicle: Quit the job you hate. Create a life you love’. Of Ealing's new facility she commented: ‘The Hub is a wonderful initiative to cultivate and spark the incredible entrepreneurial talent growing in West London. The Hub benefits from the facilities of the University as well as connections to investors as well as other peer groups. West London has always been a thriving entrepreneurial area and its fantastic to see this infrastructure to support this thriving ecosystem.’
