Travellers are back in the borough again.

Residents reported seeing around 11 vehicles which had camped up on Horsenden Hill site before the bank holiday weekend after managing to remove the lock from the height restrictor at the entrance.

An eye witness said, ''As of Monday afternoon they have fires in the Berkeley fields and are running motorbikes and cars around the fields.''

Meanwhile Ealing Common Councillor Joanna Dabrowska has been inundated once again after residents reported a group back on Ealing Common ( 24th April).

She says : '' The new encampment is settling on the smaller southern common along Elm Avenue. There are six parts of Ealing Common with five of them have at one time or another had an unathorised encampment in since 2015.''
The authorities have been alerted.

In Chiswick travellers who occupied a disused car park by the Sainsbury’s have now moved on leaving a large amount of building waste and other trash.

The encampment departed on Easter Sunday after a ‘Section 61’ order was obtained by the police which required them to vacate the site.

It is understood that as the encampment was on private land the Council will not incur any cost in relation to clearing it up.
