A green plaque to commemorate Perivale musician Nicky Hopkins, will be unveiled on Saturday 19 October at 3PM.

The keyboard player and legendary session musician worked with the Beatles, the Who, the Rolling Stones, Rick Wakeman, Jefferson Airplane and many others.

The unveiling will take place at 38 Jordan Road Perivale UB6 7BX where he was born in 1944 and lived until 1947.

The plaque will be unveiled by Nicky Hopkins’ widow Moira following a short address, in the presence of the Mayor of Ealing, Dr Abdullah Gulaid, and Perivale Ward Councillors.

 

This will Ealing Civic Society's first plaque in Perivale.
Funds for the manufacture and erection of the plaque have been provided by Perivale Ward Forum.
