Hanwell Hootie Battle Of The Bands Final

Winner awarded an esteemed place opening at this year's festival

Some top prizes including a slot at the Hanwell Hootie are on offer for young musical talent battling it out in a competition final this Friday.

The Battle of the Bands will take place at St Mellitus Church in Hanwell on Friday 8 March from 6.30pm.

After hundreds of applications, 18 bands were intitally selected and they have now been whittled down to 6.

The bands lucky enough to get to the finals are: Children of the Revolution/Strange Child/The Virtigos/Queensway Band/The Riversiders/Lost Near Blue Ape

The winner will get a prestigious slot opening on Hanwell Hooties main Stage
2nd place - Headlining Hanwell Hootie Youth Stage
3rd place - Headline slot at Surrey Food Festival
4th place - 1 day in a studio recording
5th place - A tour of Marshall Records
6th place - A Bass Guitar with TBD History and a brand new Marshall code amp prizes

Tickets are £6 (plus booking fee) with all proceeds going directly to The Basement Door Charity to support young and emerging talent.
