A new burger restaurant is to open in Ealing town centre in the space vacated by the up market fish and chip shop Kerbisher and Malt.

Honest Burgers will be serving from Monday 16 October with what they describe as ''an all-new local special featuring two great British cheeses from (Northfields Avenue) specialist shop Cheddar Deli'. They will also be showcasing a new beer from Hanwell's Weird Beard brewery called ' Little Things That Kill' .

The company has more than 20 branches in London including ones in both Chiswick and Hammersmith and says ' We set out to do one thing well, a simple burger menu inspired by great British produce, with our homemade rosemary chips.''

In a surprise move Kerbisher and Malt shut up shop at the end of August citing rent increases as the reason for closure.

Honest Burger will be previewing their new Ealing special burger at We Love Cheese festival on Sunday 08 October from 11:00 to 16:00 at Dickens Yard, around the corner from the new restaurant.
