Hundreds of volunteers have helped plant 7,000 trees on Horsenden Hill to recreate a woodland from over a hundred years ago.

Horsenden Hill Woodland

Members of Friends of Horsenden Hill, The Ealing Rangers and "Trees for Cities"  donned hats, gloves and wellies and got stuck in at the beginning of December.

Trees For Cities have been working with Ealing Council since 2010 delivering tree planting projects across the borough.

Steve Haskett filmed the event and said, ' It was great to see so many people volunteer on such a worthwhile project.'
