Thames Water dealing with incident in central Ealing

Parts of Haven Green were submerged in water this morning after a pipe burst over night.

Residents, shoppers and commuters coming out of Ealing Broadway Station (Saturday 4th July) were startled to see the new look green - some joking that it looked as though a new water feature has been put in by the council.

Thames Water say they were called to deal with an incident at Springbridge Mews this morning.

A spokesman said: '' We have a team there now working on the repair following a burst water pipe. We're sorry for the disruption and will do all we can to have everything back to normal as soon as possible.''

It's thought that some homes in the area may have been affected.
