Police are appealing for help after two Polish men were attacked in Greenford and believed to have been targeted because of their nationality.

On Sunday, 15 February police were called to Jeymer Drive, at approximately 00:40hrs to reports of an assault.

Officers attended and found two men - aged 33 and 38 - suffering facial injuries.

It is understood both victims were assaulted by two groups consisting in total of around eight men and four women. It's believed the victims were targeted because of their nationality due to comments made prior to the assault. The investigating officers are treating the incident as a hate crime.

The suspects are described as white, aged around 18/19 years-old, all in dark clothing / tracksuits. The first group was made up of two men and two women, the second made up of six men and two women.
