Hanwell station closed after incident on Sunday
A man in his sixties has died after being hit by a train at Hanwell station on Sunday.
A British Transport Police (BTP) spokesman said:
“BTP officers were called to Hanwell station, Ealing, on Sunday, 21 April following a report of a man being struck by a train.
“BTP and Metropolitan Police officers attended the incident, which was reported to BTP at 11.35am and is believed to be non-suspicious.
“Medics from London Ambulance Service also attended but the man, believed to be in his sixties and from Hanwell, was pronounced dead at the scene.
“A file will be prepared for the Coroner.”
