There were major delays and disruption to trains through Hanwell yesterday ( 11th July) as emergency services dealt with a trespasser at the station.

TFL tweeted some information after 4pm:

TfL Rail service maybe subject to delays due to a trespasser at Hanwell. Please allow extra time to travel. Passengers travelling Westwards are advised to travel to Paddington to catch GWR services towards the west at the moment.

Passengers were reportedly told the trespasser had been on the building roof threatening to jump, but was led away and taken to a place of safety.
