Late Night Assault in Hanwell

Police appeal for witnesses

A man's been assaulted outside a takeaway in Hanwell.

On Friday, 13 November, at around 00:10hrs, officers were driving along Uxbridge Road when they saw a man lying on the floor outside Joe's Chicken Shop on the Uxbridge Road, Hanwell. Another man was seen walking away at speed.

Officers found the man injured with blood coming from his nose and a cut above his eye. The 32-year-old was taken to hospital where he received treatment for minor injuries.

A short time later, officers were driving along the Uxbridge Road when they saw the suspect who had walked away.

A 28-year-old, was detained and arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent. He has been bailed till mid-December.
