A man's been arrested after another man died following a flat blaze on Grove Road in W5 on Friday (11th March)

Officers, London Ambulance Service and London Fire Brigade attended the fire and a 41 year old man was taken from Wells House to a west London hospital where he died. Next of kin have been informed.

A post-mortem examination which took place at Uxbridge Mortuary on Saturday, 12 March was unable to confirm a cause of death. Police are awaiting the results of toxicology tests.

The death is being treated as unexplained at this time.

Ealing CID are investigating.

A man has been arrested on suspicion of arson with intent to endanger life and taken to a west London police station. He was later bailed to return on a date in May pending further enquiries. The cause of the fire is under investigation
