A man who was found dead outside Greenford Station on Saturday, 23 June has been formally identified as Slawomir Weglarski, aged 39, from Greenford, UB6.

Police were called to Oldfield Lane North at 1.46am following reports of a fight.

Officers and the London Ambulance Service attended and found two unresponsive men aged in their late thirties.

Mr Weglarski was pronounced dead at the scene. A post-mortem examination at Fulham Mortuary the following day was inconclusive. A special post-mortem is ongoing.

The second man was taken to hospital with a suspected head injury. His injuries have since been deemed non-life threatening or life changing.

At this stage the death remains unexplained and officers from the West Area Command Unit are investigating.
